She Is 99 and Lectures at Charles University — Hormonal Yoga for Men's and Women's Health

Certified by Dinah Rodrigues Herself

I am one of three men in the world certified to teach Hormonal Yoga Therapy for Men.

Dinah Rodrigues trained me personally.

She also authorised me to train new instructors worldwide.

The certification is issued exclusively by Dinah Rodrigues herself.

I am telling you this not to impress you.

I am telling you this so you understand where what I teach comes from and why it matters that Dinah Rodrigues was invited to lecture at one of Europe's oldest universities.

There are wellness methods that spread through social media.

And there are methods that get invited to lecture at one of Europe's oldest and most respected universities.

Hormonal Yoga Therapy belongs to the second category.

.

.

Dinah Rodrigues — 99 years old, the Brazilian psychologist who created Hormonal Yoga Therapy — was invited to lecture at the Faculty of Arts of Charles University in Prague.

Charles University was founded in 1348. It is one of the oldest universities in the world.

When a therapeutic method is presented in that setting, it means something.

What Is Hormonal Yoga Therapy and Why Is It Different?

Dinah Rodrigues is clear about this from the beginning of her lecture.

"Yoga is very well known. There are many different kinds of yoga. But I decided to create something therapeutic. My yoga is therapeutic — to correct something that is wrong with health."

Hormonal Yoga Therapy is not a relaxation practice. It is not meditation. It is an active, dynamic, and intense therapeutic system — built around specific yoga movements, breathing techniques, and relaxation — designed to stimulate the body's own hormonal production.

"My yoga is not meditation. It is completely active, dynamic, and strong."

Why She Created It

Dinah Rodrigues trained in Hatha yoga and completed a course in yoga therapy.

She noticed that women around the age of 45 begin to experience changes related to declining hormone levels. Insomnia. Joint pain. Loss of energy. Mood changes. Decreased libido.

She heard doctors tell women that joint pain was simply "normal for their age."

She disagreed.

"If someone is not feeling well, they should not simply accept that it is normal for their age. They should look for a way to improve their condition."

Her core insight was simple but powerful: rather than supplying hormones from outside the body, stimulate the body's own hormonal system to produce them.

"It is much better to achieve the situation where our body produces the hormones itself."

She targeted specific endocrine glands — the ovaries and thyroid in women — using dynamic movement and breathing techniques including bhastrika and ujjayi.

The First Results

Her first group had approximately five women.

One participant showed an increase in estrogen and progesterone levels of more than two hundred percent. Her symptoms disappeared within several months. Dinah Rodrigues describes her as healthy, happy, and full of vitality.

These results convinced her to continue developing the system.

From Women to Men

As her work expanded, men began asking questions.

Their partners — women who had practised Hormonal Yoga — were changing. Less irritable. More energetic. More engaged. More interested in intimacy.

The men wanted to know: is there something like this for us?

Dinah Rodrigues began studying male physiology and the male hormonal system. She created Hormonal Yoga Therapy for Men — focused on stimulating testosterone production and supporting the male endocrine system.

"The results are also very good."

What Stress Does to the Hormonal System

One of the most important parts of her lecture addresses stress.

Short-term stress, she explains, is not the same problem as long-term stress lasting weeks or months.

  • For women: prolonged stress can cause hormone levels to drop again even after they have been raised through practice.
  • For men: long-term stress can be associated with declining testosterone.
  • For people with diabetes: stress can directly affect blood sugar levels.

This is why working with stress is built into Hormonal Yoga Therapy — not as an afterthought, but as a core part of the system.

How Often to Practice

Dinah Rodrigues recommends practising four times per week. For faster results — every day.

The practice is not exhausting by design. It is meant to bring vitality and energy, not deplete them.

The session always ends with yoga nidra — a guided relaxation that includes visualisation of specific glands and organs.

"This creates a psychosomatic effect."

The Relationship With Medicine

Dinah Rodrigues is consistent throughout her lecture on one point: Hormonal Yoga Therapy is not a replacement for medical care.

Doctors diagnose. Doctors monitor. Doctors treat.

Hormonal Yoga Therapy is something a person can do alongside that — working with their own body and hormonal system through regular practice.

Future research is being prepared in Oslo and Brazil to generate measurable data — so that doctors can better assess Hormonal Yoga Therapy as a complementary approach.

"I respect doctors. Their role is to set the diagnosis and perform the necessary examinations."

Why This Matters

A method lectured at Charles University is a method that has been taken seriously outside the wellness world. That is not common.

Most fitness or yoga approaches never reach an academic audience. Hormonal Yoga Therapy — developed over decades by a Brazilian psychologist, refined through real results with real people — did.

If you are a man dealing with low testosterone, poor sleep, chronic stress, or low energy: this is not a trend.

This is a therapeutic system with a 40-year track record — now taught by certified instructors in multiple countries.

I was personally trained by Dinah Rodrigues to teach this method to men — and to train new instructors worldwide.

There are currently three men in the world certified to teach Hormonal Yoga Therapy for Men. I am one of them.

The certification is issued exclusively by Dinah Rodrigues herself.
