I Am 60 and I Feel Better Than at 40

I Am 60 and I Feel Better Than at 40

Let me say something that most fitness and wellness content will not tell you.

It is never too late. Not at 60. Not at 70. Not at 80.

I know this not because it sounds motivating.

I know this because I have seen it with my own eyes — in my courses, with my clients, over more than ten years of practice.

Age Is Not the Problem

One of the most common things I hear from men who find Hormonal Yoga for Men is some version of this:

"I wish I had found this sooner."

And then, almost immediately:

"But is it too late for me now?" It is not.

Among my clients are men in their 50s, 60s, and 70s.

Some are over 70 and still practice regularly.

And here is something that makes Hormonal Yoga for Men genuinely different from most forms of exercise:

You practice according to your own body and your own current possibilities. There is no standard you have to meet. No flexibility requirement. No pressure to perform.

Some movements are done fully. Some are done as a gentle suggestion — a partial movement, a direction rather than a destination.

And the results come anyway. Because it is not about how far you bend. It is about what happens inside the body when you practice.

The Lieutenant Colonel

One of the stories I think about most often is a client of mine — a retired army lieutenant colonel. 68 years old.

He had undergone bypass surgery. His heart activity was being monitored and the data sent continuously to a clinic in Germany.

He practiced Hormonal Yoga for Men exactly as his body allowed. Some exercises fully. Some only partially. Some barely at all — just a hint of the movement, nothing more.

After two months of regular practice, his heart function had improved by 7%. The German clinic noticed.

But that was not the part of the story that stayed with me. His wife called me. She said — and I will let you imagine her tone — that after many years, her husband wanted intimacy again. And she was not entirely sure what to do with him. 😄

He also had enough energy to chop wood. A man who had undergone bypass surgery. 68 years old. Practicing only what his body allowed. The results came anyway.

The Man Who Started at 80

The husband of Dinah Rodrigues — the founder of Hormonal Yoga Therapy — lived to 103 years old.

He began practicing Hormonal Yoga for Men at the age of 80. Until the end of his life he practiced three times a week and went swimming twice a week. He started at 80. He lived to 103. I will let that speak for itself.

Life Does Not End After 60. It Can Begin Again.

There is a story that many men tell themselves after a certain age. That the best years are behind them. That the body is in decline and there is nothing to be done about it. That desire, vitality, energy — these are things for younger men.

I have watched this story be proven wrong, over and over again, by men in their 60s and 70s who decided they wanted something different.

When a man decides he wants to change — truly decides — nothing is impossible.

The body responds at every age.

The hormonal system can be supported at every age. Vitality is not reserved for the young. 22 to 35 minutes a day. That is all it takes to start. Whatever age you are reading this.

I do not see Hormonal Yoga as a replacement for medical care. If you have a heart condition or other serious health concern, please consult your doctor before beginning any new practice. I see Hormonal Yoga as an excellent complementary method for supporting men's health, hormonal balance, and vitality — at any age.
