From Nightclub Bouncer to Hormone Yoga Instructor — The Story Behind the Method

From Nightclub Bouncer to Hormone Yoga Instructor — The Story Behind the Method

Not many yoga instructors started their career throwing people out of nightclubs.

But that is exactly where my story begins.

For years I worked as a bouncer in one of Prague's most popular clubs. Physical. Stressful. Long nights and short sleep.

From the outside, I probably looked like the last person you would expect to end up teaching yoga.

And yet here I am.

My story was later featured in For Men magazine — one of the leading men's lifestyle publications in Central Europe. Because it turns out that a story about a bouncer who solved his own hormonal problems through yoga resonates with a lot of men.

How It All Changed

The turning point was not dramatic.

It was quiet. Personal. And it came through my own body.

After years of high stress and physical demands, I started noticing the signs that many men over 40 recognize but rarely talk about.

Low energy. Sleep problems. Problems with erection. A general sense that something was off.

I did not want to go down the path of medication.

So I started looking for something else.

And I found Hormonal Yoga for Men according to Dinah Rodrigues.

What Happened Next

I went to my first session without any expectations.

The next morning I woke up and realized I had slept through the entire night for the first time in years.

Within days, other things started to shift.

Energy returned. Mood improved. The problems with erection that I had quietly accepted as "just part of getting older" began to resolve.

I was not expecting any of it.

And that is precisely why I could not keep it to myself.

Why I Started Teaching

When something works this well, you want other men to know about it.

That is the simple truth behind why I became an instructor.

Today I am one of only three certified men in the world who teach Hormonal Yoga for Men according to Dinah Rodrigues.

I also teach Hormonal Yoga for diabetics — the only man in the world certified to do so.

Together with my wife Adélka and with Dinah Rodrigues herself, we train and certify new instructors.

But the reason I started was much simpler than any of that.

I needed it. It worked. And I wanted other men to have the same experience.

What the Practice Actually Does

Hormonal Yoga for Men is not about flexibility or complicated positions.

It is a precise system that works with the hormonal system, the nervous system, breathing, and relaxation.

The practice is designed specifically for the male body — supporting testosterone, energy, vitality, prostate health, and sexual function.

It takes approximately 35 minutes a day.

And based on the experience of the men I have worked with, the first results often appear within the first week or two of regular practice.

From Bouncer to Yoga Teacher

People sometimes smile when they hear my story.

A nightclub bouncer who teaches hormonal yoga.

But I think that is exactly what makes it relevant.

I am not a lifelong yogi. I am not someone who grew up in a wellness studio.

I am a man who had a problem, found something that worked, and decided to share it.

If it worked for me, it can work for you.
